The MSU Surplus Store & Recycling Center has an opening in its Computer Department for an Apple Technician - Student Position. The ability to test and repair Apple products is essential. A deep understanding of Apple hardware and software is a must. The ability to replace screens on iPads or iPhones is a plus.

The MSU Surplus Store & Recycling Center processes computer and electronics from MSU departments while adhering to highest and best-use practices.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Test, diagnose, repair, and wipe data from used Apple products.

Additional Duties

  • Test, diagnose, repair, and wipe data from used non-Apple products as needed.
  • Test and repair A/V equipment.
  • Processes surplus computer and electronic equipment, including; sorting hampers, palletizing material and some testing.

Must be able to work Summer 2019, as well as Fall Semester.

The SSRC Computer Department operates Monday - Friday, 7:20 a.m.-3:50 p.m. Your nights and weekends are free.

Required hours: 12 - 29/wk during school year, up to 40/wk during summer.

Pay rate: $13.00/hr.
