Come and make your own junk journal/smash book using recycled materials! Cost includes all materials and supplies needed. The workshop will be held March 26, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the MSU Surplus Store & Recycling Center in our Education Room.
What is a junk journal? A junk journal is a book which is often made through found and recycled materials to be used as a way to collect and record memories, thoughts, ideas, and inspiration.
This workshop will include all materials needed to make your journal:
• Choose your own journal cover from dozens of recycled books with decorative/pattern covers.
• Access to a wide variety of paper and ephemera for inside your journal, including lined paper, graph paper, comic books, music sheets, colored copy paper, random book pages and more.
• Misc. embellishments including ribbon, string, buttons, tags, beads, envelopes, paperclips and more!
• Tools and supplies including hole punches, glue and adhesive strips, stickers, fabric, markers, crayons, pencils, paints, etc.
