Starting June 1st, the MSU Surplus Store will be open for curbside pickup!
Customers will be able to select curbside pickup time slots when purchasing goods online. Pickup times are between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Customers are given 10-minute windows to pick up their items.
Customers should confirm the size and weight of the items they are picking up to ensure that they have the correct transportation to move the item(s) that they are purchasing.
MSU Surplus Store employees will not arrange, move or remove anything from customers vehicle.
Customers should remain in their vehicle while the loading occurs.
MSU Surplus Store is not able to provide tools for customer use.
Curbside Pickup Instructions:
- At your selected time, please arrive at the north side of the building in front of the overhead door labeled "Merchandise Pickup."
- Either open your trunk or roll down your window. Please have your vehicle ready for your merchandise before you arrive.
- Please call (517) 884-0605 and provide your name, order number and designated parking spot #. We will bring your order out to your vehicle.

Can I make an appointment to shop your store?
No, at this time we are not allowing customers to shop inside our store.
Can I try an item before purchasing?
Unfortunately no. Our staff will do their best to describe each item in the listing. Our staff is also available via phone, email or video to help answer any questions you have before purchasing the item.
What if I missed my scheduled pickup time?
If you missed your scheduled pickup time, please call our Customer Service line at (517) 884-0605 to reschedule.
Can I purchase a vehicle?
We are unable to sell vehicles at this time, however, we are working on procedures and hope to have vehicle sales soon.
